Requested Contributor Code of Ethics
For the sake of the community and the ongoing validity of this project, we ask that contributors abide by the following code of ethics. In order to enable the more rapid spread of information throughout the community, we will only lightly moderate the contributed posts. Though we will not actively police the content of all posts, we will absolutely respect the natural moderation and management provided by the community itself. Where blatant and intentional violations are brought to our attention, we will be forced to delete the offending post and exclude the offender from future contribution.
But we would much rather talk about music than rules, so for the sake of everyone we therefore ask that Contributors will:
- Please avoid reviewing concerts in which you are directly involved in such a way that it would unfairly prejudice your review.
- Please check the facts you present to the best of your ability.
- Please support your criticisms: poorly supported and articulated posts/rants will be one of the few items censored from this site.
While we discourage community members from submitting posts on their own events or events that they are directly involved in, we do strongly suggest the recruitment of other community members to provide an objective review of your events. If there are other active community members in your area, encourage them to attend your events (and vice versa), and ask them to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
